Free mini purse sewing pattern!

I just ran across this great blog post at cottonandcloud.com with a free mini purse pattern.

  They are so cute! You can make a puffy or flat version and can make them from fabric scraps you have lying around. 

If I can get my hands on the mini purse frames I'm going to attempt to make a few for christmas gifts.

Polymer Clay Gift Tag Tutorial

ARTMIND has a great tutorial on how to make personalized clay christmas gift tags.  They are so cute and can be used as a christmas ornament also. 

  Doesn't seem too difficult, I may have to try it!

New scrabble tile pendants! OOAK

Here's some scrabble tile pendants I made that are all one of a kind.

Handmade Scrabble wood tile pendant. Made from upcycled wooden scrabble tile.

Decoupaged image is coated for a nice shiny gloss look and silver bail attached to back.

Pendant is not waterproof.

Pendant is handmade, may contain minor imperfections.
Also, colors may vary due to monitor settings.

New Bracelet!

Okay I'm just going to say it.....I'm horrible with dates! I can't even remember my anniversary much less birthdays! Which brings me to the subject of this post. I forgot one of my close friends birthdays. Gasp! I know I should lose my friend badge! Not only that but a month later and I still haven't gotten her a gift!

Since I'll probably see her tomorrow night and feel unbelievably guilty. I decided to make her something really nice. She's usually a very casual person so I wanted to make her something she could wear day or night and that would go with everything. I also wanted to make it a little more personal since it's for her b-day. Anyways here's how it turned out.

What do you think? I may make some more for the shop soon.

Today I finally got all of my save the dates addressed and stamped! whoo hoo! About time....if I waited any longer I could just put them in the invites!! oh wait....

Aren't they cute? They were a group effort. My awesome friend Jeff took the pics in my front yard and my maid of honor Jeana and friend Brooke made the signs, and my mom photoshopped the pics. I made them on Vistaprint for about twenty bucks! I'm so proud.

Diaper Cake

Here's my first diaper cake I made for a friend of mine who's baby shower I hosted. It turned out really cute and only took a couple hours. What do you think?
