Who says roses can't last forever? **First Peek**

A new necklace I'm getting ready to list in my shop.  I'm participating in a giveaway on my Etsy team blog Knotties & Nesties on Etsy for Valentine's day and was thinking this rose bud key necklace might be an appropriate giveaway?? Thoughts?

Finally some me time!!! And some new items!

I honestly love the holidays but what I don't love is not having any time to myself or for my craft.  Now that the holidays are over I'm slowing getting back to my jewelry. 

I have some exciting new items in the works!  More vintage inspired pieces and some new exciting materials! Here a few pieces I've been working on and should be available in my shop very soon!

New jewelry I've been working on *First Peek*

Big Beautiful Cocktail Ring!

When I was in the bridal shop finding a wedding dress I ran across these big, sparkly cocktail rings and knew I had to try to make one!  Here's my first attempt.

Reminds of something the girls on Sex & the City would wear out for cocktails!

Approximately 3 inches wide and sits about 1.5 inches on top of your finger.

Bracelets!

I was told the other day that I need more bracelets in my shop so here's a few I whipped up.

Perfect bracelet for work!

For some reason it takes me forever to put the bracelets together! Maybe I'm just a perfectionist but I will usually thread the beads on several times to get just the right combination. I really like how this one turned out! You can't really tell from the pic but the green stone beads have a slight shimmer to them that's really beautiful.

New Chandelier Earrings

Here's some cute chandelier earrings I made the other day. I just love the color of those blue beads! A very flattering color for any skin tone. Would look great with just about anything!

New wire hoop earrings

I have some new wire earrings I just listed on Etsy! I'm pretty proud of myself with these since I didn't use any bought premade components these earrings are completely handmade by me from wire and beads. Wouldn't they be great for a wedding?

New Bracelet!

Okay I'm just going to say it.....I'm horrible with dates! I can't even remember my anniversary much less birthdays! Which brings me to the subject of this post. I forgot one of my close friends birthdays. Gasp! I know I should lose my friend badge! Not only that but a month later and I still haven't gotten her a gift!

Since I'll probably see her tomorrow night and feel unbelievably guilty. I decided to make her something really nice. She's usually a very casual person so I wanted to make her something she could wear day or night and that would go with everything. I also wanted to make it a little more personal since it's for her b-day. Anyways here's how it turned out.

What do you think? I may make some more for the shop soon.
